ESI Scheme is fully implemented in 443 districts and partially implemented in 153 districts. A total of 148 districts are not covered under the ESI Scheme.

ESIC scheme adds 12.84 lakh new members in January

The NSO report showed that gross enrolments of new subscribers with ESIC were 1.15 crore in 2020-21, compared to 1.51 crore in 2019-20 and 1.49 crore in 2018-19. From September 2017 to March 2018, around 83.35 lakh new subscribers joined the ESIC scheme. The report said gross new enrolments with ESIC from September 2017 to January 2022 were 6.21 crore.

ESIC scheme adds 12.19 lakh new subscribers in October: NSO Data

The latest data is part of a report released by the National Statistical Office. Gross new enrolments with ESIC were 10.78 lakh in April. The figure stood at 8.91 lakh in May, 10.68 lakh in June, 13.40 lakh in July and 13.47 lakh in August.

ESIC scheme adds 13.22 lakh new members in August 2021

Gross new enrolments with Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) were 10.74 lakh in April, 8.88 lakh in May, 10.62 lakh in June and 13.33 lakh in July this year, the latest data showed. During September 2017 to March 2018, around 83.35 lakh new subscribers joined the ESIC scheme. The report said gross new enrolments with ESIC from September 2017 to August 2021 were 5.56 crore.
