New Delhi: The unprecedented outbreak of COVID-19 had restricted the whole country inside their homes, but after over 7 months of closure, the central government has now started easing coronavirus constraints. With unlock 5 in place, the Akshardham temple in the national capital is also all set to reopen from Tuesday (October 13), but with strict COVID-19 guidelines.
As per officials, the complex will initially allow entry from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
"All visitors will be able to enjoy the Mandir darshan, the evening water show at 7:15 pm, the gardens, food court and the books and gifts centre will be available to all visitors," reported IANS.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the 'Abhishek puja' and all exhibitions will remain temporarily closed till further notice.

The devotees will be able to enjoy the multimedia water show which is known as the 'Sahaj Anand'.

The multimedia water show has multi-colour lasers, video projects, underwater flames, water jets and surround sound in symphony with lights.

The Akshardham temple was inaugurated in November 2005 and is a homage to traditional Indian Hindu architecture.
The temple reportedly consists of 234 intricately carved pillars, 9 ornate domes, 20 quadrangle spires and 20,000 statues of India’s Hinduism’s spiritual personalities.

To reach, you have to deboard at the AKSHARDHAM METRO STATION on Delhi Metro's blue line and then you will have to walk over 300 metres to reach the temple.
