Delhi Election Results 2025: Seven Biggest Losers From AAP, BJP, Congress

In a major upset in the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal lost the polls from New Delhi seat with 4089 votes against BJP candidate Parvesh Sahib Singh, who secured victory in the high-profile constituency, marking a significant blow to AAP. 

Manish Sisodia, Delhi's former Deputy Chief Minister, suffered a defeat in the Jangpura Assembly seat, losing by 675 votes to BJP's Tarvinder Singh Marwah, who secured 38,859 votes and is set to win the seat this time.

AAP's Awadh Ojha lost the assembly election in the Patparganj constituency by a margin of 28,072 votes. He was contested against BJP's Ravinder Singh Negi, who won with 74,060 votes.

Former minister and current Deputy Speaker of the Delhi Vidhan Sabha, Rakhi Birla lost the polls against BJP's Kailash Gangwal and Jai Prakash Panwar of the Congress from the Madipur Assembly constituency in West Delhi with 10899 votes.

The Karol Bagh Assembly constituency, one of Delhi’s 70 legislative seats,  witnessed the high tension in the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections. BJP’s Dushyant Kumar Gautam lost the polls with 7430 votes from the seat against AAP’s Vishesh Ravi.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyendar Jain lost the Shakur Basti seat to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Karnail Singh by a margin of 20,998 votes.

Indian National Congress' prominent candidate, Haroon Yusuf, lost the election from the Ballimaran seat, securing 43,945 votes. He was challenged by AAP's Imran Hussain, who emerged victorious in the contest and won the seat. (Image: ANI)
