Yummy Moong Dal Toast for Kids' Lunchbox

Step 1

Soak moong dal in warm water for an hour, then drain the water and blend it with green chilies into a smooth paste.

Step 2

Put the paste in a bowl, add turmeric, salt, pepper, and a pinch of hing. Mix well.

Step 3

Add chopped onion, carrot, capsicum, and coriander. Mix everything well.

Step 4

Take a little batter in a separate bowl, add eno and mix gently.

Step 5

Butter both sides of the bread slices. Spread moong dal batter on one side, then flip and apply on the other side.

Step 6

Toast the bread until it is golden brown on both sides.

Step 7

Serve it hot with sauce or mayonnaise.
