Step 1

Grind green chillies, garlic, and salt into a rough paste using a blender.

Step 2

Put the paste in a bowl or jar.

Step 3

Heat some oil in a small pan.

Step 4

Add mustard seeds and wait for them to pop.

Step 5

Add a pinch of asafoetida to the pan and then turn off the heat.

Step 6

Pour the hot oil mixture over the green chilli paste and mix well.

Step 7

Serve the Green Chilli Thecha with Hot Tea.
