Besan (gram flour), sugar, ghee, water, oil
Sieve besan and dry roast on low flame until it turns aromatic. Keep stirring to avoid burning.
Heat sugar and water in a pan. Stir continuously until it forms a one-string consistency syrup.
Slowly add hot ghee and oil to the sugar syrup while stirring continuously for a smooth texture.
Gradually add roasted besan, stirring well to avoid lumps. Keep mixing until the mixture thickens.
Once the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan, transfer it immediately to a greased tray.
Let it cool slightly, then cut into squares. Once fully set, enjoy your homemade soft and delicious Mysore Pak!
