1.)

In a bowl take 1 cup of preboiled rice and 1 cup regular rice.

Rinse both the rice varieties a couple of times in fresh water. Drain all the water and keep it aside.

3.)

Take half cup of thick poha in a bowl, poha would help in making your idli soft and fluffy.

4.)

Then add poha and rice and add two cups of water and keep it aside.

5.)

In a separate bowl take urad daal and fenugreek seeds and soak it in water for 4 hours.

6.)

Before grinding, drain the water from urad dal, but don’t throw away the water.

7.)

Now lastly blend both the poha and urad daal mixture with water.
