Ajinkya Rahane birthday special! WATCH his remarkable hundred on Lord's debut

New Delhi: Indian cricket fans poured in their wishes as star batsman Ajinkya Rahane turned 28 on Monday.

In fact, fans of the Mumbai cricketer celebrated his birthday a day in advance.

The stylish right-hander had to clarify his actual birth date on social micro-blogging site Twitter.

Blessed with impeccable technique, Rahane's game is well-suited for all three formats.

But much like his idol Rahul Dravid, the 28-year-old shines brightest in Test cricket.

In the last couple of years, he has played several key knocks for India in testing conditions.

His best and most memorable hundred though came in 2014 on his Lord's debut.

Rahane's 103 in the first innings helped India register a very special win over England at the home of cricket.
